What is Ashtanga yoga? What is the difference between Mysore and Led?
In this workshop, we will introduce the practice of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. Exploring the main components of Ashtanga Yoga, namely Tristhanam ("three places of action or attention", or the more physical aspects of poses) and Vinyasa Krama (which Sharath Jois defines as a system of breathing and movement).
We will also break down some of the more difficult poses and find a middle ground to work around individuals’ capacity to execute them.
